Logan brings in a young and dynamic perspective, intertwining her passion for fishing with her appreciation of our Hawaiian culture. Logan’s love for fishing not only connects her to our organization’s purpose but also roots her in the cultural practices of our community. Beeper brings a wealth of experience in operations management, having spent over two decades streamlining processes and ensuring efficiency in various industries. Growing up in the vibrant fishing communities of Honolulu, Beeper developed a deep appreciation for the ocean and its resources. With a passion for preserving Hawaiian traditions and promoting sustainability, Beeper's strategic approach ensures our programs effectively reach and impact the communities we serve.

With a passion for community welfare and environmental justice,  Leilani advocates for fishing communities and sustainable marine resource management. Drawing from her experience as a social worker, she addresses social and economic disparities, ensuring our initiatives prioritize equity and inclusivity while honoring the cultural heritage of our fishing communities. 

As a well seasoned tax specialist, Kalani brings his sharp legal acumen to our board. Growing up in a community of fishermen, he developed a deep respect for the ocean and its resources. Inspired by his upbringing, Kalani advocates for sustainable fishing practices, ensuring our initiatives respect both the environment and the rich cultural heritage of our fishing communities.

For the past decade, Jessica Bates has been a dedicated force in the education field on the island of Oʻahu. She specializes in STEAM and ʻāina-based programming for keiki K–12, with experience in academic enrichment and financial literacy as well. Jessica’s expertise in holistic child development and innovative educational practices makes her an ideal fit for our nonprofit. She brings a wealth of experience and a visionary mindset, helping ensure that our initiatives support food security and environmental stewardship for future generations.
